She Thrives: A Retreat with Purpose & Play

March 25, 2020 - March 30, 2020

A Carbon Neutral Retreat with Purpose and Play.

March 25 – 30, 2020 – Selva Armonia, Uvita Costa Rica

Hosted by Kim Wenger Hall and Toby Israel

This retreat is for women who want to THRIVE—and not just survive!

Enter a space of dynamic fun, healing energy and regenerative service.

The planet needs well-healed women now more than ever. And she needs our circles to be joyful, self-aware and strong. Our Earth needs us to understand her most beautiful places so that we can help her heal the most damaged ones.

Join writer-wanderluster Toby Israel and yogi-muralist Kim Wenger Hall, and a band of other wild-hearted women March 25 – 30, 2020. Hosted by Selva Armonia in the stunningly beautiful rainforest of Pacific Costa Rica, this retreat will help you compost your limiting beliefs and coping strategies. Unbridled fun, deep inquiry and whole-hearted service to our host ecology will make fertile ground for lasting change.

Carbon offsets are built into the retreat costs so that your travel will be carbon-neutral. Selva Armonia is deeply committed to sustainability, and our service work project will help with reforestation efforts in the jungle or on the beach. Want to reduce your footprint even more? We have ways!

Journey with us and receive:

  • Clarity: Guided inquiry, meditation and ceremony to peel away layers of anger, shame and fear to see clearly what is aligned and true for you and reclaim the magic of your ancestral wisdom.

  • Strength: Empowerment Self-Defense: fun, dynamic, and incredibly effective tools created by women for physical self-defense as well as setting and maintaining strong boundaries.

  • Balance: Vinyasa yoga to wring out stale energy and fire up the heat of transformation; Restorative yoga to soothe the nervous system and assist the integration of healing.

  • Joy: Soul-healing connections with other Earth-centered women and generous time for play in the sun and surf.

  • Satisfaction: Work side by side with residents of Uvita on service projects to help our home Planet heal herself, re-membering there is no true inner sanctuary if we are not also healing the outer sanctuary that is our Mother Earth.

About Kim Wenger Hall:

Based in New Hampshire, Kim is a muralist and well-traveled yoga lover. As a yoga teacher and certified Health Coach, Kim has brought her dynamic offerings to doctor’s offices, studios and special populations including people in recovery, survivors of traumatic brain injury, older adults, and cancer patients.

Kim intertwines coaching with meditation, pranayama and open-hearted asana. Her background in healthcare has given her the knowledge, too, to speak evidence-based practice to those who don’t gravitate to all that woo-woo stuff! Kim’s approachable, authentically joyous style of teaching excludes no one from receiving all the layers of benefit from the practice of yoga.

Years of yoga journeys and vacation travel to places where travel has caused great damage sparked a desire to leave those “destinations” better off. Kim founded Travelasana with a mission to bring like-minded yogis together: we deepen our yoga practice, explore our beautiful planet, and bring willing hands and hearts to serve projects around the world. “Travel Well, Have Fun, Do Good Work.”
