An affordable and educational travel opportunity for teachers! Participate in sea turtle and mangrove conservation on the pristine Osa Peninsula, explore Costa Rica’s ecosystems as you travel from the southern Pacific Coast to Cerro de la Muerte cloud forest, visit an indigenous community and participate in community activities in the small town of Providencia.
With such an influx of people comes an added pressure on the town to take care of garbage left behind during the event. We plan to help remove waste left at the beach in order to prevent it from entering waterways and degrading ecosystems.
