Eric Baudry's Bio
I have been helping organizations become more effective and sustainable since 2003. Originally for an international strategic consulting company serving the largest corporations in the world, and later once I realized that was all mostly just marketing, shifting to focus on supporting social entrepreneurs, social benefit organizations, and wellness and education centers.
As the Strategic Director and CEO of Upward Spirals, I guide the organization towards our ecosocial benefit goals. I create and optimize regenerative business models, develop strategic and financial plans for our programs and our clients, and manage projects related to creating and scaling wellness and education centers and Upward Spirals' nonprofit programs.
In parallel to supporting Living Lands' clients to create new centers, I also work with HappE to develop and scale Successful Retreats. These programs are meant to serve the synergistic goals of increasing the efficacy of impactful organizations and scaling their impact, growing Upward Spirals, creating a network of thousands of impactful organizations working on shared goals, and generally making it easier for people to run social benefit and regenerative organizations.
I dedicate significant time to personal development, believing that deeply understanding myself, my relationships, and the ecosystems I’m part of is essential for fully rising to the challenges of regenerative leadership. By prioritizing inner growth to create outer change, an Upward Spiral in my own evolution, I aim to show up more aware, grounded, and clear, to be the most effective support for others on the path of creating a more loving and regenerative world.

I love supporting leaders to create their visions of more healthful people, communities, and planet.
I’ve wanted to help animals and make the world a better place since I was a little girl. At first I thought I could do that through becoming a vet, then later imagined running an animal sanctuary. Thankfully after a lot of introspection on how to create change on a bigger level, I had an insight which lead me on the path to where I am today. By bringing knowledge and support to help existing projects become more effective, I could be a part of helping far more animals, and simultaneously empowering the people dedicated to creating a more regenerative world.
This way of looking at creating change deeply resonates with me. Eric and I call this going a rung up the spiral, a process we went through many times before deciding it was time to create Upward Spirals to put our best ideas into action. “Wow, imagine all the leaders out there doing amazing projects to create a more regenerative world. What more could they achieve with thoughtful support?” I realized I could empower social entrepreneurs and social benefit organizations to be more effective, by growing their support systems and magnifying their impact, to create change on an exponential scale.
Since launching Upward Spirals, and creating our own wellness and education center which later evolved into Successful Retreats, I’ve created alliances and partnerships with hundreds of event producers and providers, dozens of centers, and co-produced over 100 events in Costa Rica.
Through our experience managing our own center and consulting for creating and scaling organizations, we gained valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities faced by event producers, educators, healers, and artists. These experiences have also helped us refine best practices for creating impactful programs and developing more regenerative communities. Today, we’re passionate about sharing proven effective regenerative models for growth, financial strategies, and event production tactics, empowering leaders to co-create life-changing experiences and transformative organizations.
We spent the first half of our lives developing skills to enter a society we grew to find didn’t resonate with our values, and wasn’t designed to help us thrive. Once we realized how effectively we can build new systems, organizations, and communities, rather than finding fault with those that surround us, we have been working passionately to empower and facilitate a societal transition to a regenerative relationship with nature, for the benefit of all life.
We are deeply driven to help bring humanity back into balance with our ecosystem for the benefit of all life. We believe humans have the responsibility and opportunity to act as conservators and enhancers of nature. The goal of our projects is not to avoid environmental catastrophe, but rather to walk a more beautiful path into an uncertain future. Whether our ecosystem fails to support human life in decades or continues for millennia, we will build together a society worthy of the incredible beauty that surrounds us. In doing so we will maximize our chances of protecting as much biodiversity as possible, and we will live with hope, integrity and a deep gratitude for our interconnection.
