This incredible venue combines two gorgeous adjacent locations located in a 70 acre lush and secluded mountain setting, surrounded by tropical rainforest, just 12 miles to the beaches of Dominical and a 30-minute drive to local supply town of San Isidro. Well-maintained hiking trails weave throughout the properties, leading to rivers, swimming holes, and five different waterfalls. An abundance of wildlife, including howler monkeys, toucans, and a great variety of birds frequent the venue daily.
Villa amenities include a pool, a 10-person whirlpool hot tub, wireless internet, workout/chill room, lawn with grill and cooler, and a giant chess board in the garden. The villa is staffed with a concierge, housekeeping with laundry service, grounds maintenance, and security. Next door enjoy a yoga deck, indoor sauna, and additional workshop spaces. Delicious purified spring water adds to the health supporting features of this incredible natural venue.
The villa features a five-bedroom main house (6,000 square feet on three levels) that comfortably accommodates 14 adults, along with a detached three-room garden house that can sleep eight more (a maximum of 22 adults and six children). Right next door, a jungle chic lodge offers space for an additional 12 adults. Between these two adjacent venues, you can host groups of up to 34 guests.
The elegant Spanish colonial villa was built with an eco-conscious design, oriented to capture the light, impressive sunsets, mountain views, and breezes, and it is fully accessible for wheelchairs. It has an open floor plan on the lower level with a great room, restaurant and bar, commercial-style kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, espresso bar, theater room, workout room, chill space, and office. The second story includes a viewing gallery, three large bedroom suites, each with a queen bed and double bed sofa, and a fourth bedroom with a double bed. The third level is an observatory suite with two double beds and breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains. All bedrooms have private bathrooms and air conditioning.
Just a short walk from the main house is the laundry facilities and garden house, which contains three suites (one with a queen bed and double sofa bed, one with a queen bed, and one with a double/twin bunk bed and kitchenette). Garden house rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, and satellite TV access.
The jungle chic lodge is particularly suited for health-oriented groups, such as cleansing and yoga retreats, with simple yet comfortable accommodations, screened jungle rooms, private bathrooms with hot water showers, and wi-fi throughout. Services are available to assist with detoxification, such as a wood-burning sauna, wheatgrass cultivation station, and on-site massage and colonic therapists.
Nearby adventures and activities include: hiking, access to Baru Waterfalls, rappelling, mountain biking, rock climbing, cycling, deep sea fishing, surf fishing, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, ocean kayaking, and whitewater rafting in Guabo River. Local area guides and maps can be found in the multimedia center with a library of books and videos. A computer and local cell phone are provided for your use, however bringing a laptop is recommended.
This is the perfect place to bring your group to rest, breathe, and let go. Wake up to hear the howler monkeys announce the break of day. Listen to the toucans play. Walk through the forest to a secluded pavilion where yoga classes are held. Sit and meditate by a waterfall or babbling brook. Hike further to a large flowing river. Soak up the sun. Feel yourself rejuvenating!
What people are saying:
“I would highly recommend this villa. We had 15 people in our group and we enjoyed our entire stay. The staff were always available for any of our needs and the food was great.”

“Our group of friends with kids stayed here over Thanksgiving week 2015. We had the most amazing time. To this day is the most talked about trip we all have ever taken. The staff was the best. We had dinner in a few times prepared for us. We even had horseback rides with nearby family/staff. Everyone was so great. Hiking. Waterfalls. Surfing. Fishing. Parasailing. Zip lining. White water rafting. Beach. Wildlife adventure. Catamaran. We did it all and had a blast. The property itself was entirely gorgeous. Hiking. Waterfalls. Wildlife. So beautiful. The concierge took us into town to shop and get groceries. He set up all our adventures. We loved this place. Everyone wants to go back. You will need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle. You will need to plan to get there in daylight if possible. We stayed the night in San Jose, went to see a volcano and park in the morning, then headed to the villa. It was as perfect. Thank you so much for the best trip of our lives!”

“This is where you want to go if you want majestic panoramas in a romantic movie location. Perfect setting for a small group of friends that get along well together and share a common love for the beauty of Costa Rica. Trogons and toucans were daily sightings amongst many others. Indulge yourself, you will have no regrets. Pura Vida.”

“We traveled with a group of 14 and we all were treated with great respect and our comfort was most important to the staff. The house feels like a high-end resort without the crowds and chaos. We loved the pool, outdoor living space, media room (for our sunburned kids), multiple seating options, showers in each room, hot tub, on-property fruit trees, homemade breakfasts, and daily housekeeping service. We felt like fancy famous people when we're just like you, normal everyday folks. The property manager and go-to guy, helped us arrange excursions, made us breakfast, acted as tour guide on the property and around Dominical, and made sure we had everything we didn't even know we wanted. We highly recommend this property.”
