What Expedition graduates are saying….

“I came to learn more about organic farming and sustainable building practices. To see how a community could be laid out and designed. I left with more love for myself, the earth, fellow humans and all the creatures, trees, plants and animals of the world. I made a life-long bond that is priceless. Learning community and feeling its love.”

– Derrick Mulcahy

Lodging at beautiful Somertime Inn

Nestled among lush jungle, permaculture gardens, and refreshing rivers, this charming retreat offers your guests a wonderful “home away from home” experience.

This retreat center is at Somertime Inn where there are multiple bedrooms from 2 – 6 people in each room.

Explore several hiking trails on site, as well as a refreshing river with swimming holes and little waterfalls just a few steps from the front door. If you’re looking to venture off site, some of the biggest and most beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica are just a short drive away. However, there is so much rich biodiversity on site (including over 250 species of birds), your group might just prefer to simply stay “home”. The house contains lots of books and fun board games, a variety of instruments available to play, and plenty of hammocks. There is also laundry service available and free wifi.

Enjoy the “pura vida” lifestyle in one of the most popular places to stay in the area. At this warm and inviting venue, you may just want to stay!
