The Schedule

Day 1 — Saturday February 15th 2020

Arrive San Jose.
Participants arrive on their own and are responsible for getting to the hotel

Check into Hotel
Hotel Casa Conde in San Jose. Based on shared rooming. Private accommodations are available at an additional $50.00 per person

Cocktail Party and Dinner
Party will be set up around the pool. Wine and appetizers. Dinner is buffet style with a choice of 2 main dishes and a vegetarian option, salad, side dishes and dessert

Day 2 — Sunday February 16th 2020

Breakfast @ Hotel
Buffet style 6:15 -7:15am

Transport to Manzanillo
About 5 hours
Bus leaves at 7:30am. Bus will stop at a great fruit stand on the way, about an hour and a half after leaving. We will prearrange fruits to be served. Will have snacks on the bus.

Hike to Punta Mona with local Afro-Caribbean guide,
Guide can take up to 20 people. Can have multiple guides. About a 3 hour hike. Need to prepare participants on what to expect and give specific instructions on what to wear and have on the hike. It is a trip highlight.  Luggage will be sent in by boat. Those not wanting to hike will be sent in by boat.

Orientation and check-in
Guests will be met on the beach by Punta Mona family with flowers and cold coconut water and snacks. All of the rooms will be pre-assigned and all luggage labeled and put into respective rooms. Guests who come in by boat will have lunch. Need a trip concierge who will be directly responsible to answer any questions and be available to help guests in any way. Have signage posted as to daily schedule.

Dinner
6:30pm. Circle before dinner with introductions. Safety procedures.

Day 5 — Wednesday February 18th 2020

Breakfast
5:30-6:30am
All luggage will be brought to staging area for loading on to boats. Need to be color coded to correspond to flights

First boats leave for Manzanillo
7:00am Will need to coordinate departures with flight times. Will have buses waiting in Manzanillo. Ideal to have 4 boats and take out 36 people. Additional boats and buses depending on flight schedules.

Bus from Manzanillo to Limon
Leave between 7:30-7:45 am. Need to coordinate with flight schedules

Board planes to Quepos
About an hour drive from Manzanillo to Limon Airport. Planes hold 12 people and for cost efficiency need to fill them up. About a 50 minute plane ride from Limon to Quepos.

Buses to Envision Festival
Best to have 36 people on the bus. Stephen will make arrangements in next document for arrival at Envision
