Beachside Botanicals: An Immersion in Tropical Ecology
• Class Description:
This week-long retreat will focus on Tropical Botany, Ecology, Permaculture and Materia Medica.

• Teacher Bios:
Sarah Wu is a clinical herbalist and Permaculturist. She is Co-Director and Educational Curator of the Punta Mona Center for Regenerative Design and Botanical Studies. She is also Co-Founder and Educational Curator of Medicines From the Edge: A Tropical Herbal Convergence, which takes place each March. Sarah is also creator and Director of Envision Festival’s Village Witches program, which includes the festival’s healing sanctuary, sacred fire, elixir bar, ferment bar and herbal first-aid center.
Adrian C is a Deep Ecologist and Permaculturalist. He is co-owner of Finca La Marea as well as Zion, an 80-acre permaculutre farm in California. His years of experience and profound knowledge combined with a penchant for evocative teaching make him an excellent guide to permaculture and wholistic wellness. He will be sharing his knoweldge of tropical botany and farming, superfoods, wholistic wellness, Qi Gong and more.
