Assessments are finalized by Irum Naqvi, Director of “The Center for Natural Living”, and Jo Ann Staugaard-Jones, Senior Teacher, Professor of Kinesiology & Dance and Author of “The Concise Book of Yoga Anatomy”.

Both teachers are rated ERYT500  instructors, each with a 500hr certification from the Himalayan Institute. This particular yoga offering is certified through both the US & Canada Yoga Alliances. (CE credits are also possible for the Yoga Anatomy and/or Philosophy sections).

Through this immersion training you will engage in intense physical practice. Thought provoking discussions will help you explore your inner being. Through reflection and self awareness, uncover your layers of conditionings and the Samskaras, discover your true self. The transformation will leave you energized, confident and ready to follow your inner calling.

Learn to teach, guide, and share yoga, from the foundation of your own practice.

Irum is a yoga teacher, registered with Yoga Alliance, and Director of the Center for Natural Living, which certifies an annual teacher training at Rancho Margot. Her philosophy, “the deeper we go, the lighter we become,” enables her to share her “stillness in chaos”. Irum has been practicing yoga for 25 years. Influenced by Ashtanga, Iyengar, Kripalu, Anusara, Sivananda, and all aspects of Hatha yoga, she focuses her practice on meditation and breath awareness, guiding students into their deeper physical and emotional space.

Irum provides a space that encourages everyone to explore their inner being, discover the true self and unlock layers of conditionings and Samskaras (deep-seated impressions that guide our actions). With more than 4,000 hours of personal practice and close to 1,500 hours of teaching, Irum has organized yoga retreats, compiled a 100- page yoga training manual and trained yoga teachers. She has taught in Canada, Costa Rica, the United States, Austria, Belgium, Israel, Thailand and Egypt. Irum’s information can be found on her webpage:
